LEXINGTON, Miss. - Safeway Homes, with manufacturing facilities in Lexington, Miss., was the subject of a one-hour Discovery Channel Show August 28, the eve of the second anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. Safeway Homes are rated to withstand 150 mph winds and are being used to rebuild housing on the Gulf Coast. The show covers the design, construction and placement of the home. Powderhouse Productions, an award-winning, creative cable and broadcast production company, premiered Build it Bigger, an all-new engineering series for the Discovery Channel, on July 10. The series airs on the Discovery Channel at 9 p.m. (CST) every Tuesday through October and builds upon the huge success of Powderhouse's "Extreme Engineering" series. The new series will provide a unique, insider point-of-view of the world's most remarkable and important engineering marvels.
