In order to enter the Workers’ Compensation Group, an employer must be a member in good standing of the Mississippi Manufacturers Association. It is not necessary for an employer to be an Association member in order to obtain a premium quotation or apply for coverage with the Group. However, any Group applicant that is not already an Association member must agree to join the Association as a condition of Group participation.

Provide three years' current loss history and prior annual premiums.

Provide number of employees per class/shift.

Willingness to accept joint and several liability provisions of the Mississippi Manufacturers Association Workers’ Compensation Group.

Willingness to accept safety program requirements, claims reporting/handling requirements, payroll auditing procedures and all other reasonable requests of the Group.

Minimum annual premium of $5,000.

Must submit a copy of the most recently completed fiscal year end financial statement. Financial information provided by applicants is kept in the strictest of confidence. Each applicant’s financial statement is reviewed only by the Group’s Certified Public Accountant.

Provide a copy of current NCCI Exposure Mod worksheet.
