The Mississippi Manufacturers Association Work Comp Group was founded in 1991 in response to the hardening workers’ comp market in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The Group was formed by Mississippi industry for the benefit of Mississippi manufacturers. Our primary goals are to provide the highest level of service and to protect Mississippi employers from workers’ comp premium rate volatility.
We are a non-profit organization, dedicated to serving our specific constituencies. In response to feedback from our members, the MMA Work Comp Group offers a wide variety of value added services.

To safeguard the interests of participants, the MMA Work Comp Group is governed by a seven-member Board of Directors elected by the WCG’s membership. Serving as the Work Comp Group’s Administrator is Jay C. Moon, CEcD, President and CEO of MMA.
